Now we’re just waiting for the concrete guy to show up.
We didn’t do a lot this week, except for the final stage of preparing the garage for the concrete guy. We put down insulation in the garage for two reasons. One: It raises it up a little and thus will cost us less concrete. Two: It will provide some insulation for the floor. We plan to put rigid foam insulation around the exterior walls and possibly spray foam insulation in the ceiling, helping to keep the garage warmer in the winter months.Speaking of warmer, the lake has finally been consistently not freezing enough to enjoy a swim pretty much whenever we want. We have spent a fair amount of time in the water this weekend. That is all for now. Sorry for the really short post, but we are now playing the waiting game.
